Myself

I am Fatima I Quddannavar, I am 24 year old. I am born and brought up in Dandeli. Dandeli is a industrial area. I like it so much because of its natural beauty.  I did my early primary and secondary education in Dandeli. After that I joined PUC in MGCM Girls college Dandeli, later I joined graduation at Government First grade Woman's college, Bailhongal in 2002. After that I completed my Post Graduation in Department of Economics at Karnataka University Dharwad in 2007. In did my research in Economics as a part of my M.phil at Karnataka University Dharwad in September 2008, my study area was “Socio-Economic Status of Muslim Community” it’s a case study in Dandeli. I submitted my dissertation on Dec 2008.

 

After my PG I joined SAMASTI Integrated Development Society as Community Organizer. I facilitated the rural people to organize SHGs and around 12 SHGs were formed in a period of three months, at present four groups are functioning.

I belong to our family of six members. My father is working in WCPM and my mother is a homemaker, I have two younger brothers. My hobbies are listening to music. Cooking new food items and watching dance shows.I am confident, I have lot of petitions. I would like to see myself as a prestigious woman in the society. Now I am fellow of Deshapande Fellowship Program Cohort-II 2009.
